Finally Monsoon has hit the capital. It has been raining all around us but not here. Monsoon normally starts, end of June but it really only started in Aug this year here. Monsoon means cooler weather! So we have dropped from 120 to 98ish F. This is much more bearable when we have power. Below are some photos of our street that flooded last week. Yes that is rain water mixed with sewage, but we just don't think about that when we are having to walk in it. We are very Thankful for the Monsoon rains.
